Went yesterday to Caffeine & Gasoline at Griot’s Garage in Tacoma. The theme this month is Lamborghini. One of the cool things is their indoor display area that changes every month with the theme. Last month was super cars, this month is Lamborghini. I showed up quite late this time so the herd was pretty thin, but still a lot of cool stuff.

There were a ton of mustangs but these were the two coolest. The Mustang bros were truly terrible. They were all revving their engines and doing burnouts when leaving. No joking, they were the least responsible people I’ve ever seen at a car show.

What is this Toyota? I have no idea but the lines are very nice on it.

The second Mangusta I’ve seen in the last month, Amazing!

Kinja'd!!!

And an Islero, first one I’ve ever seen and it makes the modern Lamborghinis next to it look terrible.

And the best for last. I couldn’t believe my eyes to walk in and see an Iso Grifo. One of my absolute favorite cars. I’ll try to get better pictures later this month. This set of cars will be in Tacoma for the rest of this month, it’s worth a visit just for the Grifo.

Man, I want an Islero. Absolutely up with the top 5 prettiest Lambos, maybe even top 3.

I would say top 3 for sure with the Miura and the 350/400

Agreed. And the Aventador Roadster. By far the best-looking modern Lamborghini, I think.

That’s a Tercel. My mom used to own one. Good car, Surprised not many people are modifying them at this point.

Thanks, seems like they have pretty good potential.

Those wheels and that color make that Murcielago the worst I’ve ever seen I think.

4AGE swaps into them are actually pretty easy, but turboing the stock DOHC 1.5 doesn’t seem like a bad option either.

When I saw the Iso Grifo I didn’t recognize it, but I thought “that looks like stylized Italian C2 Corvette.” then I scrolled down, like oh it basically is.

I’ve never thought of that but you are right. The proportions are very similar and the powertrain is basically the same. It could have easily been an Italian coachbuilt Corvette.
